This
following chart shows 25 states and the cost to ship 12, 6 and 2 plants both totals
& per plant to that zip code. The plants are shipped USPS
Priority Mail. The 12-16 plant order is THE most efficient from
a shipping and handling fee standpoint.
*Shipping
and handling rates for less than 6 plants is very high because we have a 6
plant handling minimum. We don't force you to buy any number
of plants, but we have to charge a base fee of $8.10 (handling on 6
plants) because our office time, processing the order, printing shipping
and address labels, sending and receiving E-Mails, etc. is the same for 1
plant as for 16 and we simply can't afford to process and ship very small
orders without a minimum handling fee.

However,
if you only want 2 plants, it's still much cheaper, in the end, to order
two plants and paying the minimum handling fee than to be forced into
buying 6 or 12 plants. Example to Washington, DC showing the
order total in Red and the S&H fee per plant:

plant order with two $6.49 plants is $28.18 Total
S&H is $6.85 per plant
6 plant order with six $6.49 plants is $56.49
Total
S&H is $2.92 per plant
12
plants order with a dozen $6.49 plants is $109.08
Total S&H is $2.60 per plant
Obviously,
if you really only want two plants, paying $28.18 leaves
you more money than paying $56.49 or $109.08 for 6 or 12 plants that you
don't really want or can afford just to attain a more reasonable shipping and handling
fee. We leave the choice up to you of how many plants to order and
the most cost efficient way within your budget and plant needs to do
that.
