Online ordering is fast and cost efficient.  Phone calls are usually neither!  We are an Internet Based business.  To select plants, customers have to be on the Internet to even look at them.  It seems logical to us for the customer to simply place the item in their shopping cart while they're looking at.  If you're concerned about security, remember, you can call in you credit card.  That does not need to be done online.

When orders come in over the Internet, we simply process and print them, put them in a plastic work sleeve and we're set to go.   It would be much more costly for us (and ultimately, for customers) to accept phone orders.  We think that if we had a printed catalogue, there might be a need for phone orders but since you can't really shop for our plants unless you're on the Internet, the orders might as well be placed there -- on the Internet.

If you're concerned about security, you can place the order online and then PHONE IN YOUR CREDIT CARD.  You simply select that as your 'method of payment' when checking out and when you get instant confirmation of the order, you will also get a phone number to call in the information.
