You are/were looking at a plant that won't be ready until mid-May
based on when the plugs arrive here. We have about 30 plants (out
of about 2000) that can't ship until mid-May. Please be
mindful of when we normally ship to your area. If you're in
these zones, this really doesn't effect you:
Zone 5B - May 4th,
Z:5A - May 11th -- there'll just be a little delay and not worth
sending a 2nd box
Zone: 4B - May 18th,
Z:4A - May 25th, Z: 3A&B - June 1st - no delay at all
If you're in Zone 7-10, these 30 or so plants won't be ready at
your normal ship time and there are three options with this plant
if you want to order it WITH other plants that can ship on time: |

pay part of the cost of shipping an additional box later when that
plant is ready.
You need to add the
$4.00 'Box Charge' by clicking the shopping cart button to the left,
adding this additional charge to your order when you order this
plant. This will cover PART of the cost of shipping an
additional box later when the plant is ready (we cover the rest
which is generally about the same as what you're paying). This covers
any number of 'later shipping plants', not just one.
Regardless of how many 'late' plants your order, there's just one
(1) extra box charge.
This is MUCH less
expensive than ordering the plant later as a single order unless you
have 16 or more plants which would be a 2nd box anyway.

Why does this plant ship later? Most often it's because we
sold out early and
- we couldn't obtain additional plugs from a supplier in time to
continue uninterrupted availability or
- we sold out early and we propagated additional plants and they
won't be ready until then
It also could be that the plant simply wasn't available from any
suppliers until later.
