Phellodendron amurense - Amur Corktree

A female plant loaded with berries in Fall. The berries, while attractive, are a bit messy. Fortunately, if you only plant one tree, whether male or female, there won't be any berries OR seedlings!	Exhibits its wonderful, distinctive, wide-spreading shape even as a young tree about 8' tall.	And when it's old and mature, pull up an Adirondack chair, a good book and life can't be better! Yes, these two plants look remarkably similar but the one on the left is 8' tall and this one is about 35' tall.
