Gardenia jasminoides 'Shooting Star' -

2007: Our number one 'Star' Puller,
Amanda, is often seen with flowers of whatever's blooming stuck in her
hair as she races through the greenhouse pulling plants for orders.
The morning Gardenia 'Shooting Star' bloomed, I noticed them in the
greenhouse and was going for my camera as I didn't have a picture of
them. In the meantime Amazing Amanda, got to them first and
sniffing out the best bloomers on the property, plucked the only two
blooms and put them in her hair.

Rarely do I mention "great
hair decoration" as one of the attributes of a shrub BUT if you
want to smell the scent all day long, stick a few in your hair!
But if they're the only two blooms at the Nursery where you work, be
sure the boss isn't going to feel like 'Shooting (the) Star' Puller
for plucking them prior to their photo session!
