Trillium erectum - Stinking Benjamin, Purple Trillium_

A delightful variable species, the Purple Trillium or Stinking Benjamin produces a single 2" bloom with 3 recurving reddish-grape petals, richly adorned with plum colored veins & magenta-like anthers brushed with white pollen. 6" leaves when mature on a HUGE plant. PROLIFIC SEEDER if happy.
		Did you know? Red Trillium (Trillium erectum) and Eastern Skunk Cabbage, Symplocarpus foetidus are pollinated by flies! We're happy to know this because we couldn't image any good use for flies!
