One of the tricky aspects of plant photography is get
photos of pale blooms.
The flash often whitens these blooms. Our staff member tried a charcoal background
and a white background and 'somewhere' came up with a red background
(I think it's her jacket!) which actually allowed the pink of the
bloom to come through in the photo.
We're not, however, advocating putting this plant in
front of red! :-) They look best in front of their own green
foliage as shown in Jack Potter's photos, we were just trying to show you the lovely pale delicate
violet rose color!
