Our Hostas are not Tissue Cultured.  They are hand divided plants grown here and, in fact, most come from Originator Stock.  You may find our prices higher because hand dividing is slow and tedious but here's the alternative:  Tissue Culture Hosta 'Reversions' at a very well-known mail order nursery's Retail Store.  Reversions are supposed to be 'culled' out by the supplier/grower.  It doesn't always happen.  Pete's mother worked at a lab that tissue cultured hostas and when she died, she had flats of some of their 'Tiara' series at her home.  We watched those plants for 3 years and reversions were still happening at the end of three years.  Plants are grown in various size pots, sometimes in the ground, and then potted in Quart pots for shipment.
