Geranium pratense 'Midnight Reiter' - Cranesbill

Some say summer dormant but on 8/1/12 after a month+ of grueling temps 90-100, the foliage in full sun (above on that date) was still stunning with no signs of dormancy and that's in pots above ground where the roots were hot!	This is really about as pretty as a Geranium can get. (The green foliage you see in the background is another plant.)	Back lit by sun you see more of the 'violet' of the violet blue blooms. In shade, Geranium pratense 'Midnight Reiter' appears more blue.
