Arisaema fargesii in a rare shot at right
>
On the right, a
rare shot of a 'Jack-in-the-Pulpit' apparently 'preaching' to a
spellbound congregation of Hostas and none appeared to be sleeping, as
far as we could tell, and the youngsters weren't squirming... Wow!

When you say 'Tripartate'
leaves when describing an Arisaema, most avid gardeners yawn,
thinking of our native, which also has 'three-part' leaves. But
the HUGE 3-part leaves of Arisaema fargesii are stunning, particularly in
the fall when they turn butter yellow. Note, young plants only
have 1 part or leaflet of their eventual three and look not a single
bit like an Arisaema! Note
the long 'drip tip' on the spathe in the center photo -- it's is so
lovely and graceful!
